WHY MERIDIAN LOVES

AUROOM LUMINA

ARCHITECTURAL CONTRAST, BEAUTIFULLY BALANCED

The Auroom Lumina brings genuine visual distinction to the traditional sauna without allowing design to overshadow performance. Created in collaboration with Italian architect Luca Donazzolo, its contrasting wood panels and narrow accent grooves give the interior depth, rhythm, and an unmistakably architectural presence. Tiered seating, expansive glazing, concealed fasteners, and integrated lighting complete a sauna that feels bright, composed, and thoughtfully resolved. We especially appreciate that each defining detail—from the aluminium base frame to the coordinated bench design—also contributes to durability, comfort, or everyday usability.

THE AUROOM DIFFERENCE

Auroom handcrafts its saunas in Estonia using responsibly sourced Northern European timber, precision production methods, and a detailed understanding of how materials behave in high-heat environments. The Lumina demonstrates that expertise through its carefully coordinated wood combinations, clean interior joins, stable aluminium foundation, ergonomic bench construction, and integrated lighting. Rather than applying decorative elements after the cabin has been designed, Auroom develops the architecture, materials, illumination, and practical details as one complete interior.

THE DIFFERENCE IS NOT SIMPLY WHAT YOU SEE. IT IS HOW EVERY DETAIL WORKS TOGETHER.

Designed Through Contrast

TWO-TONE WOODWORK WITH ARCHITECTURAL DEPTH

Lumina’s signature wall treatment pairs broad horizontal timber panels with narrow grooves in a contrasting wood tone. The effect gives the cabin depth and definition without making the interior feel visually busy. Three coordinated material combinations allow the sauna to move from light and understated to warm and dramatic while preserving the same carefully structured design language.

Balanced from Head to Toe

CLIMATE-EQUALIZING HEAT WITH INTELLIGENT CONTROL

The featured Saunum Air L 10 does more than heat the room and stones. Its integrated climate device draws hotter air from ceiling level, blends it with cooler air from below, and redistributes the combined air through the cabin. This helps reduce the pronounced temperature difference that can develop between the upper body and feet in a conventional sauna while preserving traditional water-over-stones steam.

  • Saunum climate-equalizing air circulation
  • More consistent vertical temperature distribution
  • Reduced concentration of heat at ceiling level
  • High-capacity stone chamber
  • Adjustable fan operation
  • AirIQ Wi-Fi control
  • Remote starting and weekly scheduling
  • Customizable temperature and climate settings

Composed for Comfort

TIERED SEATING, OPEN SIGHTLINES, AND INTEGRATED LIGHT

The featured six-person Lumina provides generous upper and lower seating within a refined, visually open enclosure. Expansive glazing connects the sauna to the surrounding room, while concealed LED lighting defines the backrests and bench structure without introducing harsh visible fixtures. Every element supports an interior that feels calm, spacious, and comfortable to occupy.

BUILT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Lumina’s aluminium base frame provides a durable structural foundation in the warm, humid conditions associated with sauna use. Coordinated wooden floor grids create a finished walking surface, while discreet rubber strips improve stability and limit direct wood contact with residual moisture. These practical details help preserve the cabin’s refined appearance through regular use.
