BlueCube C3
COLD PLUNGE: BlueCube C3
The C3 is BlueCube's flagship cold plunge — and it looks and feels exactly like it. Handcrafted in Redmond, Oregon, the C3's long, low rectangular profile is architectural and intentional — wider and more commanding than any other unit in the BlueCube line or the broader premium market. At 48.5" wide, it has a physical presence that matches its performance. The exterior is encased in Line-X® truck-bed spray lining — the same coating used on military and off-road vehicles — giving it a finish that is simultaneously refined, indestructible, and fully weatherproof. Custom Pantone color matching and logo engraving make it the most personalizable cold plunge available at any tier. This is not a wellness appliance. It is a precision instrument with the durability of industrial equipment and the finish of something bespoke.

Delivery & Setup:
The BlueCube C3 ships fully assembled and palletized in a protective freight crate directly from BlueCube's manufacturing facility in Redmond, Oregon. There is no on-site assembly of any kind required. The unit arrives as a complete, finished, operational system — the only steps between delivery and first use are placement, electrical connection, and water fill.
Shipping & Lead Time
The C3 ships with complimentary curbside freight delivery within the continental United States. Standard lead time from confirmed order placement is 3–6 weeks depending on configuration, tub size — 66" or 72" — and finish selection, including whether a wood deck has been specified, which is treated as a custom build and may carry a slightly extended production timeline. Given the C3's larger size relative to the C1 and C2, freight logistics and delivery access planning are more involved — MERIDIAN confirms all delivery-specific logistics with the client in advance of shipment. A specific updated timeline will be confirmed by MERIDIAN at the time of order confirmation.
Placement
The C3 frame measures 29" in height, which allows the unit to be tilted onto its side to pass through standard interior doorways and navigate narrow hallways where necessary. However, the C3's frame width of 48" — the widest in the C-Series — means that corridor width and turning radius at hallway junctions are the primary measurements to confirm before delivery for any indoor installation. A minimum of four movers with moving dollies is recommended for safe transport from the delivery point to the final placement location. The C3 weighs approximately 750 lbs empty — heavier than the C1 and C2 — and filled weight is substantially greater. Structural assessment of the floor or deck surface at the intended placement location is strongly recommended before the unit is filled, particularly for elevated decks, second-floor installations, or any surface not rated for concentrated heavy loads. The C3's side deck configuration means the entry point runs along the long side of the unit — this should be accounted for when determining the final placement orientation to ensure the deck side remains comfortably accessible and that the mechanical access end has the recommended minimum 18" clearance for routine maintenance. Once positioned, the C3 does not require permanent anchoring of any kind.
MERIDIAN Coordination
MERIDIAN manages every aspect of the delivery and placement process on the client's behalf. The client confirms a delivery date and installation location — every logistical detail from that point is handled by MERIDIAN through our certified installation partner network. The client does not coordinate with freight carriers, manage delivery scheduling, or arrange placement logistics at any stage. For C3 installations with complex indoor routing, elevated placement locations, or custom architectural integration, MERIDIAN coordinates directly with the installation team in advance to confirm access requirements and placement logistics before the unit ships.
Startup
Once the C3 is positioned and the electrical connection is complete, startup takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Check all unions for tightness, fill the tub, prime the filter, and plug the unit into the dedicated 120V / 20A circuit. The system is operational immediately upon fill completion. BlueCube recommends allowing the chilling motor to settle for 2–3 hours following any tilting during transport before powering on for the first time. From that point, the C3 runs continuously — cooling to the set temperature at 11–13°F per hour from ambient and maintaining that temperature 24 hours a day without any additional setup or preparation required before each use. River Mode™ is operational immediately and all three speed settings are available from first use via the Balboa SpaTouch 4+ controller or the ControlMySpa app. Given the larger water volume of the 66" or 72" tub, initial cool-down from ambient tap water temperature to the client's target set point should be expected to take proportionally longer than on the C1 or C2 — most clients fill the C3 the evening before first use or early in the day to ensure it has reached the target temperature before the intended session.

BLUECUBE C3 — CUSTOMIZATION
Exterior Color:
The BlueCube C3 exterior is finished in BlueCube's patented Line-X® polyurea coating — the same 16-mil material used on military vehicles and commercial truck beds. This is not a paint, not a powder coat, and not a film wrap. It is a seamless, fully bonded shell applied across the entire frame exterior that is impact-resistant, UV-stable, scratch-resistant, and fully weatherproof regardless of indoor or outdoor placement. The coating will not fade, chip, peel, or crack over time. Color is built into the material itself, not applied on top of it. At 48" wide — the largest frame footprint in the C-Series — the C3's exterior finish has a more commanding visual presence than any other model in the line, and the standard color selection allows the unit to integrate cleanly with a wide range of architectural environments and interior design palettes.
The four standard color options available on the C3 are:
- White
- Black
- Grey
- Beige
Wood Deck:
The C3 is available with BlueCube's signature handcrafted wooden deck top, hand-selected and finished by BlueCube's craftsmen at their Redmond, Oregon facility. The wood deck replaces the standard Line-X® top surface of the C3's side deck with a solid hardwood panel finished to a furniture-grade standard. Given the C3's larger frame footprint and the prominence of its side deck configuration, the wood deck option has a particularly significant visual impact on this model — the side deck runs the full length of the tub's long edge, creating a substantial hardwood surface that anchors the unit as a design object within the space. The wood deck is available alongside any of the four standard Line-X® exterior colors.
Wood deck options available on the C3 are:
- Walnut
- Mahogany
- White Oak
- White Maple
- Cherry
Each wood deck is finished with a protective top coat to provide initial weather resistance. For outdoor installations, BlueCube recommends placement in a shaded location — direct sun and prolonged exposure to rain or snow will affect the wood surface over time and require top coat maintenance or reapplication to preserve the finish. The insulated spa cover included with every C3 should be kept in place over the deck surface when the tub is not in use, particularly in outdoor environments. The wood deck warranty does not apply to units placed in direct sun.
Wood decks are considered custom builds. C3 units with a wood deck selected are non-refundable once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
Powder-Coated Screens:
Every C3 delivered through MERIDIAN includes powder-coated screens as a standard inclusion. Powder coating is a dry finishing process that applies a durable, uniform protective layer to the metal screen surfaces surrounding the mechanical access panels — more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion than conventional liquid paint finishes. On the C3, whose larger frame perimeter gives the mechanical access areas greater visual prominence than on the C1 or C2, the powder-coated screens contribute meaningfully to the overall cohesion and finished quality of the unit's exterior presentation while providing long-term protection to the filtration and pump access panels that are part of the C3's daily operational environment.
Foot Pegs:
Every C3 delivered through MERIDIAN includes foot pegs as a standard inclusion. Foot pegs are mounted inside the tub interior and provide a stable, fixed surface for the user's feet during immersion — supporting natural body positioning, preventing forward slide during a session, and contributing to overall comfort and control throughout cold exposure. On the C3, where the 66" or 72" tub interior accommodates full leg extension for taller users, foot pegs serve an additional function — providing a fixed anchor point that allows taller clients to position themselves optimally within the longer interior, maintaining stable, comfortable contact with the tub surface across the full duration of the session without having to brace or reposition.
Reverse Plumbing:
The C3 is available with a reverse plumbing configuration. In the standard factory build, the mechanical components, filtration access, and plumbing connections are oriented in BlueCube's default configuration. Reverse plumbing repositions the access end of the unit to the opposite side, allowing the C3 to be placed precisely as the installation space requires. Given the C3's larger footprint — at 72.5" to 79.5" in length and 48" in width depending on tub size — spatial planning for placement is a more involved consideration than it is for the C1 or C2, and the reverse plumbing option provides meaningful flexibility for installations where the standard mechanical orientation conflicts with the architectural layout of the space. The C3's side deck configuration means that the entry point and the mechanical access end are already on different sides of the unit, but reverse plumbing allows the mechanical end to be positioned away from doorways, corridors, adjacent structures, or any other spatial element that would limit maintenance access or compromise the visual presentation of the installation. Reverse plumbing does not affect the performance, flow rate, filtration efficiency, or mechanical accessibility of the unit in any way. It is a placement-driven specification that must be confirmed with MERIDIAN at the time of system configuration, as it is built into the unit at the manufacturing stage and cannot be changed after the order has been placed with BlueCube.
Regulatory & Safety:
- Handcrafted in the USA
- GFCI plug included as standard
- Field-serviceable by licensed pool and spa technicians
Why Meridian Elevation System:
The C3 is BlueCube's flagship for a reason — wider, longer, and more capable than any other model in the line. The River Mode™ flow system, 316-grade marine steel tub 30% thicker than the industry standard, Line-X® military-grade weatherproof shell, true full-body immersion in 66" or 72" tub lengths, made-in-USA provenance, near-silent Japanese magnetic-drive pumps, and a 5-year extended warranty program with documented portal tracking represent the most complete cold plunge specification available at the residential luxury level. The Elevation buyer investing at this tier demands a cold plunge that matches their environment in material quality, longevity, and brand story. The BlueCube C3 is that unit
