BlueCube C2
COLD PLUNGE: BlueCube C2
The C2 is a handcrafted American-made cold plunge built in Redmond, Oregon — the same facility, the same materials, and the same construction standards as BlueCube's flagship C3, in a more compact footprint. At 37.5" wide and 92.5" long, the C2 has a long, low rectangular profile that is architectural and intentional — not the clinical-white-plastic aesthetic of lesser units. The exterior is encased in Line-X® truck-bed spray lining, the same coating used on military and off-road vehicles, making it fully weatherproof and built for indoor or outdoor year-round placement. Custom Pantone color matching and logo engraving are available, making it one of the most personalizable cold plunges at any price point. This is a unit that shares every core material and engineering decision with BlueCube's flagship — in a form factor suited to tighter spaces without compromising on what matters.

Delivery & Setup:
The BlueCube C2 ships fully assembled and palletized in a protective freight crate directly from BlueCube's manufacturing facility in Redmond, Oregon. There is no on-site assembly of any kind required. The unit arrives as a complete, finished, operational system — the only steps between delivery and first use are placement, electrical connection, and water fill.
Shipping & Lead Time
The C2 ships with complimentary curbside freight delivery within the continental United States. Standard lead time from confirmed order placement is 3–6 weeks depending on configuration, tub size, and finish selection — including whether a wood deck has been specified, which is treated as a custom build and may carry a slightly extended production timeline. A specific updated timeline will be confirmed by MERIDIAN at the time of order confirmation.
Placement
The C2 frame measures 28.5" in height, which allows the unit to be tilted onto its side to pass through standard interior doorways and navigate narrow hallways where necessary — making indoor placement achievable in most residential layouts without structural modification. A minimum of four movers with moving dollies is recommended for safe transport from the delivery point to the final placement location. The C2 is wider than the C1 at 43.5" — this should be factored into corridor and doorway measurements for indoor delivery planning, as the width rather than the height becomes the limiting dimension when the unit is tilted. The unit weighs approximately 650 lbs empty; filled weight is substantially greater and should be factored into structural assessments for elevated decks or upper-level interior floors before the unit is filled. The C2's end deck configuration means the entry point and the mechanical access end occupy distinct positions on the unit — both should be accounted for when selecting the final placement orientation within the space. Once positioned, the C2 does not require permanent anchoring of any kind.
MERIDIAN Coordination
MERIDIAN manages every aspect of the delivery and placement process on the client's behalf. The client confirms a delivery date and installation location — every logistical detail from that point is handled by MERIDIAN through our certified installation partner network. The client does not coordinate with freight carriers, manage delivery scheduling, or arrange placement logistics at any stage.
Startup
Once the C2 is positioned and the electrical connection is complete, startup takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Check all unions for tightness, fill the tub, prime the filter, and plug the unit into the dedicated 120V / 20A circuit. The system is operational immediately upon fill completion. BlueCube recommends allowing the chilling motor to settle for 2–3 hours following any tilting during transport before powering on for the first time. From that point, the C2 runs continuously — cooling to the set temperature at 10–12°F per hour from ambient and maintaining that temperature 24 hours a day without any additional setup or preparation required before each use. RiverMode™ Plus is operational immediately and all three speed settings are available from first use via the Balboa SpaTouch 4+ controller or the ControlMySpa app.

BLUECUBE C2 — CUSTOMIZATION:
Exterior Color:
The BlueCube C2 exterior is finished in BlueCube's patented Line-X® polyurea coating — the same 16-mil material used on military vehicles and commercial truck beds. This is not a paint, not a powder coat, and not a film wrap. It is a seamless, fully bonded shell applied across the entire frame exterior that is impact-resistant, UV-stable, scratch-resistant, and fully weatherproof regardless of indoor or outdoor placement. The coating will not fade, chip, peel, or crack over time. Color is built into the material itself, not applied on top of it.
The four standard color options available on the C2 are:
- White
- Black
- Grey
- Beige
Wood Deck:
The C2 is available with BlueCube's signature handcrafted wooden deck top, hand-selected and finished by BlueCube's craftsmen at their Redmond, Oregon facility. The wood deck replaces the standard Line-X® top surface of the C2's end deck with a solid hardwood panel finished to a furniture-grade standard. The addition of a wood deck fundamentally changes the visual character of the unit — shifting it from a high-performance wellness appliance into an architectural object that integrates naturally into a designed interior or exterior wellness environment. The wood deck is available alongside any of the four standard Line-X® exterior colors, allowing the combination of a refined hardwood top surface with a cohesive, durable exterior finish below.
Wood deck options available on the C2 are:
- Walnut
- Mahogany
- White Oak
- White Maple
- Cherry
Each wood deck is finished with a protective top coat to provide initial weather resistance. For outdoor installations, BlueCube recommends placement in a shaded location — direct sun and prolonged exposure to rain or snow will affect the wood surface over time and require top coat maintenance or reapplication to preserve the finish. The insulated spa cover included with every C2 should be kept in place over the deck surface when the tub is not in use, particularly in outdoor environments. The wood deck warranty does not apply to units placed in direct sun.
Wood decks are considered custom builds. C2 units with a wood deck selected are non-refundable once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
Powder-Coated Screens:
Every C2 delivered through MERIDIAN includes powder-coated screens as a standard inclusion. Powder coating is a dry finishing process that applies a durable, uniform protective layer to the metal screen surfaces surrounding the mechanical access panels — more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion than conventional liquid paint finishes. The powder-coated screens maintain a refined, cohesive visual finish across the C2's exterior while providing long-term protection to the filtration and pump access panels that are part of the unit's daily operational environment.
Foot Pegs:
Every C2 delivered through MERIDIAN includes foot pegs as a standard inclusion. Foot pegs are mounted inside the tub interior and provide a stable, fixed surface for the user's feet during immersion — supporting natural body positioning, preventing forward slide during a session, and contributing to overall comfort and control throughout cold exposure. The C2's contoured 20-degree ergonomic interior slope combined with foot peg placement creates a naturally supported, stable seated position that allows the client to settle fully into the immersion experience without physical tension or repositioning during the session.
Reverse Plumbing:
The C2 is available with a reverse plumbing configuration. In the standard factory build, the mechanical components, filtration access, and plumbing connections are oriented in BlueCube's default configuration at the end of the unit opposite the deck entry point. Reverse plumbing repositions the access end to the opposite side, allowing the C2 to be placed precisely as the installation space requires — particularly relevant where a wall, architectural feature, built-in cabinetry, or design element on one side of the intended placement location makes the standard orientation impractical or visually undesirable. For C2 installations where the end deck entry point and the mechanical access end must both be considered in the spatial layout, the reverse plumbing option provides the flexibility to orient both ends of the unit optimally within the space. Reverse plumbing does not affect the performance, flow rate, filtration efficiency, or mechanical accessibility of the unit in any way. It is a placement-driven specification that must be confirmed with MERIDIAN at the time of system configuration, as it is built into the unit at the manufacturing stage and cannot be changed after the order has been placed with BlueCube.
Regulatory & Safety:
- Handcrafted in the USA
- GFCI plug included as standard
- Field-serviceable by licensed pool and spa technicians
Why Meridian Activation System:
The C2 carries every core material and engineering decision that defines BlueCube as a brand — 316 marine-grade stainless steel 30% thicker than the industry standard, Line-X® military-grade weatherproof shell, River Mode™ 3-speed hydro-agitation, near-silent Japanese magnetic-drive pumps, chemical-free ozone sanitation, made-in-USA provenance, and a 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty with 5-year extended coverage — in a more compact footprint than the C3. For the client whose space constraints preclude the C3, or whose budget sits in the Performance tier, the C2 delivers the full BlueCube standard without compromise on anything that matters clinically or materially. The only meaningful difference between the C2 and C3 is size and the availability of the skimmer and chlorine drip add-ons — not quality, not materials, and not build standards.
